Job Responsibilities
The selected Storekeeper will be responsible for managing warehouse operations, inventory control, material handling and store documentation at the Fertil facility in Ruwais, Abu Dhabi.
Key responsibilities include:
- Receiving, inspecting and verifying incoming materials, tools, equipment and consumables.
- Maintaining accurate records of material receipts, issues, returns and stock transfers.
- Organizing, labelling and storing materials according to warehouse procedures.
- Issuing materials against approved Material Requisitions (MRS).
- Monitoring stock levels and coordinating material replenishment with procurement and maintenance teams.
- Conducting periodic stock verification and inventory reconciliation.
- Maintaining Goods Receipt Notes (GRN), Material Issue Vouchers (MIV) and other store documents.
- Updating inventory records using ERP systems or MS Excel.
- Ensuring proper warehouse housekeeping, safety and material preservation standards.
Educational Qualification and Experience
Candidates applying for this position should meet the following requirements:
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a Storekeeper.
- Experience in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Fertilizer, Refinery or Industrial Maintenance projects.
- Previous experience in plant, refinery or industrial warehouse operations is preferred.
- Good knowledge of material identification and inventory management.
- Knowledge of stock control and warehouse documentation.
- Familiarity with ERP systems, inventory software and MS Excel.
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics or a relevant discipline is preferred.
Preferred Industry Experience
Preference will be given to candidates with experience in the following industries:
- Fertilizer and Petrochemical Plants.
- Oil & Gas Facilities.
- Refinery Maintenance Projects.
- Industrial Warehouses.
- Plant Operations and Maintenance (O&M) Projects.
