Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily electrical installation activities at the project site.
- Coordinate manpower, subcontractors, equipment, and materials.
- Oversee installation of:
- GIS Switchgear (400kV & 132kV)
- Power Transformers and Shunt Reactors
- 11kV Switchgear
- Control and Protection Panels
- Power, Control & Fiber Optic Cables
- Cable Trays
- Earthing Systems
- Batteries, Chargers, and Auxiliary Equipment
- Ensure all work complies with approved drawings, project specifications, and method statements.
- Coordinate with Project Engineers, Client Representatives, OEMs, and Testing Teams.
- Monitor productivity, quality, and site safety.
- Prepare daily progress reports and resolve site issues.
- Support pre-commissioning and testing activities until project completion.
Job Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in HV Substation erection projects.
- Kuwait experience in projects involving MEW, MEWRE, PAHW, KOC, KNPC, or similar organizations is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of GIS substations, transformers, switchgear, cable installation, and electrical equipment.
- Ability to read construction drawings and coordinate multiple site activities.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and team management skills.
