Joinery Estimator – Ship Interior Projects
The Joinery Estimator will handle cost planning and estimation for ship interior refit and refurbishment works.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate cost estimates and budgets for interior ship refit and refurbishment projects
- Analyze interior, technical, and architectural drawings using AutoCAD
- Support estimation processes with detailed drawing reviews
- Develop commercial proposals and evaluate project changes and cost impact
- Monitor and control project budgets during execution
- Coordinate with project teams for cost tracking
- Support site inspections and attend client meetings when required
- Use Excel and AI-based estimation tools to improve accuracy and efficiency
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in marine or ship interior projects
- Strong AutoCAD and Excel knowledge
- Good commercial and costing skills
- Ability to interpret technical drawings
Electrical Estimator – Shipbuilding & Refit Projects
The Electrical Estimator will be responsible for estimating electrical and interior electrical systems for ship refit and new build projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare cost estimates for ship refit and new build electrical projects
- Study electrical schematics and layout drawings using AutoCAD
- Ensure compliance with marine standards and class rules
- Review client specifications and prepare technical documents
- Develop work scopes for subcontractors
- Coordinate with subcontractors and validate technical inputs
- Justify calculations and technical solutions to clients
- Assess integration of electrical systems with other engineering systems
- Participate in ship inspections and site evaluations
- Travel for short business trips when required
Preferred Skills:
- Marine electrical estimation experience
- Strong knowledge of electrical drawings and standards
- Experience with AutoCAD and technical documentation
- Good coordination and communication skills
