Required Qualifications & Experience
Candidates applying for the Instrument Technician position should meet the following requirements:
- 5 to 8 years of experience in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, or Power Plant projects.
- Strong experience in Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) works.
- Good knowledge of instrumentation systems and field equipment.
- Ability to read, understand, and work with schematic drawings.
- Knowledge of PLC panels and control systems.
- Experience handling Junction Boxes (JB), transmitters, circuit breakers, transformers, and tubing systems.
- Familiarity with instrument installation, calibration, and testing procedures.
- Ability to troubleshoot electrical and instrumentation-related issues.
Key Responsibilities
Selected candidates will be responsible for:
- Installing and maintaining instrumentation systems.
- Performing calibration and testing of instruments.
- Troubleshooting and repairing field instrumentation equipment.
- Working with PLC panels and control systems.
- Ensuring compliance with project safety standards.
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings and schematics.
