Job Responsibilities
1. Process Monitoring & Control
Operators will be responsible for monitoring and controlling various machinery and equipment in a mineral processing plant. Their primary task is to ensure efficient extraction and processing of ore and tailings by adjusting operational parameters to meet quality standards.
2. Operating Heavy Machinery
Selected candidates must be skilled in running and monitoring multiple equipment, including:
- Crushers & grinders
- Vibrating feeders
- Flotation cells
- Leach agitation process
- Thickeners & filter presses
- Conveyors & other mining machinery
3. Quality Control & Sampling
A crucial part of the job is regularly testing, sampling, and recording processed ores and tailings. This ensures that the final mineral production meets international quality standards.
