Key Job Requirements
Candidates applying for this position must meet the following criteria:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 5 years of maintenance experience
- Proven plant-level maintenance experience
- Strong man-management and team leadership skills
- Sound understanding of Manufacturing Excellence systems, including:
- 5S
- Kaizen
- 5-Why / 5-M Analysis
- Defect Elimination
- 6 Big Losses
- Experience in managing Profit & Loss (P&L) responsibilities related to maintenance
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and procurement / supply chain
- Ability to manage the introduction of new machinery, plant, and equipment, including:
- Drawing up technical specifications
- Supplier coordination
- Complete installation and commissioning
- Strong focus on safety, food safety, product quality, and compliance
- Ability to work with urgency without compromising standards
