1. Dredging Superintendent
Salary: Starting from 8000 QAR
Requirements
- Minimum 10+ years of dredging experience.
- At least 5 years as a Dredging Superintendent.
- Experience with:
- Cutter Suction Dredgers (CSD)
- Trailing Suction Hopper Dredgers (TSHD)
- Backhoe Dredgers
- Pipelines
- Booster stations
- Marine support vessels
- Strong background in:
- Port development
- Land reclamation
- Navigation channel dredging
- Coastal protection projects
- GCC or international dredging project experience preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage daily dredging operations.
- Ensure safe, efficient, and on-time project execution.
- Coordinate dredgers, barges, support vessels, and marine crews.
- Monitor production and hydrographic survey progress.
- Ensure compliance with HSE, environmental, and quality standards.
- Coordinate with project managers, consultants, clients, and marine authorities.
- Optimize equipment utilization and operational productivity.
- Prepare daily and weekly operational reports.
2. Dredge Operator
Salary: Starting from 4000 QAR
Requirements
- 4–6 years of experience as a Dredge Operator.
- Experience operating:
- Cutter Suction Dredgers (CSD)
- Clamshell Dredgers
- Similar dredging equipment
- Knowledge of dredging operations, hydraulic systems, and marine safety.
- Basic troubleshooting and preventive maintenance skills.
- Physically fit to work on marine construction projects.
- Basic English communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate dredging equipment safely and efficiently.
- Monitor dredging operations and achieve production targets.
- Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance.
- Coordinate with supervisors, engineers, and marine crew.
- Maintain operational records and report equipment issues.
- Follow all HSE and marine safety procedures.
