Experience & Skills Required
Candidates should have the following qualifications and experience:
- Minimum 5–6 years of experience in chiller manufacturing.
- Strong expertise in copper brazing.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints.
- Hands-on experience with:
- Oxy-Acetylene Torch
- Single Tip Torch
- Dual Tip Torch
- Knowledge of selecting appropriate filler metals and fluxes.
- Ability to perform brazing according to safety and quality standards.
- Experience in identifying and rectifying brazing defects, including:
- Lack of filler
- Overheating
- Pinholes
- Leaks
- Other joint defects
- Knowledge of Nitrogen Purging techniques.
- Ability to perform brazing in multiple positions during assembly.
Educational Qualification
- Diploma
- ITI
