Key Responsibilities
Selected candidates will be responsible for:
- Performing high-quality copper brazing work.
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and blueprints.
- Using Oxy-Acetylene, Single Tip, and Dual Tip torches.
- Selecting appropriate filler metals and fluxes.
- Ensuring all brazing work follows safety and quality standards.
- Identifying and rectifying brazing defects such as:
- Lack of filler
- Overheating
- Pinholes
- Leaks
- Other joint defects
- Applying Nitrogen Purging techniques for premium-quality brazed joints.
- Carrying out brazing in multiple positions during equipment assembly.
Experience & Skills Required
Applicants should have:
- Minimum 5–6 years of experience in chiller manufacturing.
- Strong expertise in Copper Brazing.
- Ability to understand engineering drawings.
- Hands-on experience with Oxy-Acetylene brazing equipment.
- Good understanding of filler metals and flux selection.
- Strong knowledge of quality inspection and defect correction.
- Experience with Nitrogen Purging techniques.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining safety standards.
Educational Qualification
Candidates must possess:
- Diploma or ITI in a relevant technical trade.
