- Work Hours: 8 Hours per day, 6 days a week
- Experience Required: Minimum 10 years
- Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Materials/Metallurgical Engineering or a Postgraduate degree in Welding Engineering
Required Skills & Certifications
- IWE/European Welding Engineer (EWE) Certification
- Expertise in welding processes: SMAW, SAW, GTAW, GMAW, FCAW
- Fabrication knowledge in the Oil & Gas industry
- Strong understanding of corrosion, fracture, fatigue, creep, and embrittlement of weld joints
- Proficiency in material testing for Oil & Gas projects
- Ability to prepare WPS, select consumables, analyze weld failures, and diagnose welding issues
- Familiarity with international standards: ANSI, ASME, ASTM, API, BS, EN, ISO
- Knowledge of Qatar Energy standards
